Mark Perkins

Mark founded Consolidated Life Producers, LLC, known today by many as Consolpro, in 2001. He is not just a veteran of the financial services industry but also a passionate advocate for financial education and empowerment, using his public speaking abilities any chance he gets to connect with people.

Mark’s roots trace back to the solar energy sector in Colorado, where his career began. However, as that industry faced changes in 1984, Mark discovered a new calling in the world of finance. Drawing on his innate ability to grasp complex financial concepts, especially in relation to tax codes, he transitioned seamlessly into this field. Since then, Mark has built a reputation as an experienced professional in retirement income planning.

In 2019, Mark reimagined his business model to focus on educating the public directly, shifting his experience from consulting with professionals to working with clients one-on-one. This approach continues to inspire him, as he believes that well-informed individuals make the best decisions about their financial futures.

Mark lives in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, with Goose, his faithful golden retriever. He has two grown children and now four grandchildren in his world. He loves to fish and can often be found exploring New England waters or chasing the “Big One” off the coast of Florida during tarpon season, always practicing catch-and-release. Mark also likes hiking, reading American history books and listening to a wide variety of musical genres.

Mark’s parents lived to the ages of 94 and 97, with neither expecting to live so long. He says he uses this for perspective in helping his clients understand longevity and other key retirement factors. That said, Mark is committed to the long run of his family business serving other families and individuals.

“Retire? It has taken me 40 years to get good at this!” Mark often quips when asked about his retirement plans. With his son Luke by his side in the family business, Mark takes comfort in knowing his clients will continue to receive exceptional Consolpro service for many years to come.
